First Flight for Puppy and Kitten

A puppy or kitten’s first flight shouldn’t be in cargo. Puppies and Kittens are fragile and need extra special attention.

If you are receiving your kitten or puppy from out of state and either you are bringing them home by flight, you need to find an airline that provides special flight air program that provides the extra special care needed: Here are major requirements if you are not flying with them.

  • They need to be monitored by an In-Flight Pet Attendant throughout their important first flight.
  • Water as needed at all times.
  • Food every 4 hours.
  • Special attention to potty breaks (sometimes they need a little encouragement or a quick clean up).
  • Lots of love and attention by the pet attendents.

As Pet Parents-To-Be you need to be assured that the airline can be trusted to take care of your new baby.

Ask your breeder to send your puppy or kitten with an airline that provides these guidelines. Your puppy or kitten deserves a safe and comfortable delivery.
