WIU Art and Design Presents Annual Juried Student Exhibition

MACOMB, IL - - The Íæż½ã½ã Department of Art and Design will host its annual Juried Student Exhibition on display Tuesday, April 15 - Saturday, May 3 at the WIU Art Gallery.
A reception for the artists will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday, April 17. Awards will be announced and the juror will speak at 5 p.m.
Exhibiting artists include:
Brooke Baker, Madison Brewer, Jae Florence Corales, Ana Davis, Claire DeGraaf, Lily Dunsworth, Delaney Egan, Vanessa Ellis, Noah Epley, Leslie Eutsler, Carolyn Foster, Kendra Hallberg, Mary Hammond, Melaina Hawblitzel, Mallory Houk, Austin Lagesse, Maggie Long, Francesca Magalang, Bailey McKean, Alexis Miller, Kieara Morey, Kayla Smith, Jade Stone, Andrew Tomlinson, Keeara Virag, Ruby Warner, Kaeden Wiersma and Autumn Wilson.
Juror: Tyanna Buie
Buie is a Chicago and Milwaukee native. She is the associate professor and graduate program director in Printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from WIU and her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Buie has mounted several solo exhibitions, including "Embodiment(s)" at the Freeport Art Museum, "Re/Faced" at the South Bend Museum of Art and "Improvisations" at the Alice Wilds Gallery in Milwaukee.
