Performing Arts Society Announces Grants for 2025-2026

MACOMB, IL - - The Performing Arts Society (PAS) at Íæż½ã½ã is thrilled to announce that applications for three grants are open for the 2025-2026 Academic Year. The WIU Arts Grants, Community Arts Grants and K-12 School Arts Grants are all made possible by the generosity of PAS individual memberships, corporate sponsorships and social fundraising functions.

WIU Arts Grant
In keeping with the mission of the PAS, grants have been established to support projects, activities, performances or events that enhance the arts at WIU. Applicants must be faculty, faculty emeritus or staff from the College of Fine Arts and Communication and all facets of the application must be complete to be eligible for consideration

Community Arts Grant
The PAS Community Arts Grant will support community and audience development and increase public awareness of the need and value of the performing arts through its support of arts in the community, providing financial assistance for performing arts activities in the community or to support travel for regional or national performance opportunities. Applicants must be students, student organizations or professional artists residing in McDonough County at the time of application or a civic entity or organization that promotes the arts.

K-12 Arts Grant
The PAS K-12 Arts Grant will "support arts programming and development in K-12 schools" and "increase the public awareness of the need and value of the arts" through its support of arts programs and development in K-12 schools serving McDonough County, providing financial assistance for performing arts activities provided through the schools or to support travel for regional or national performance opportunities through McDonough County K-12 schools.
